About

Katie Hauenstein was educated at Northwest University in Kirkland, Washington, where she met and married her husband. After graduating with her Bachelor’s Degree in Communication, she had her daughter, and began writing her stories. Forgotten, the first book in the Rose of Petrichoria series, was her first published novel. She now has nine published YA novels, including three complete series. Omnibus versions of Rose of Petrichoria and Faith in Concordia are now available on Kindle. She also has two of three books complete for her children’s chapter book series, Mary’s Memoirs, and a bedtime book, Bear’s Lullaby.

In her spare time, you can find Katie volunteering on the worship team at her church, playing with her cats, Mochi and Bruce Wayne, pwning her family at card games, binge watching superhero/sci-fi/fantasy shows on Netflix, fangirling about Doctor Who, attending a variety of movies at the local theater, or with her nose in a book. She also enjoys cake decorating, online shopping, and other introverted activities.
